Training Diary, Day 41: Rain, rain go away.
March 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment
The peril of doing too many press ups.
As I mentioned in a previous post the rain just doesn’t make you want to run. As such I’m confined to the house and will not be doing athletically pleasing indoor activities such as press-ups, sit-ups or step-ups – indeed they wouldn’t be aesthetically pleasing either.
My new running shoes are also still keeping a faraway shelf warm, yes I know, day 41 and I still haven’t managed to purchase any suitable footwear.
Instead I have become something of a specialist trainer borrower. Now to most people the idea of sticking their (hopefully clean) feet into someone else’s sweaty pumps is about as desirable as eating a marmite and peanut butter sandwich (believe me, I’ve tried!).
